Volunteer Opportunities
Momentum--Excellence at the Speed of Dance, in partnership with BalletMet, engages students in music, movement, and choreography in order to build confidence, excellence, and discipline. Momentum is based on the nationally acclaimed method, originated by dancer Jacques d'Amboise, of teaching dance to schoolchildren. Momentum still needs volunteers--MoVos--for their grand year-end event on May 23-24, 2012 at the Capitol Theater. Four-hundred 4th and 5th grade boys and girls from Columbus and Hilliard Public Schools will be dancing on stage to celebrate Columbus' Bicentennial.

1.  volunteers needed on Wednesday, May 23 and Thursday, May 24 from 8:30am -3pm
2.  volunteers must work both days
3.  volunteers will be assigned to a classroom of children and their teacher
4.  volunteers' primary responsibility is to know where their group needs to be at all times
5.  volunteers will be given lunch on both days, a Momentum t-shirt and reimbursed for parking

Please contact Kristin Loy if you would like more information: kristin@momentum-excellence. Please contact Monica Kridler if you would like to volunteer:
