Biggest Yoga Class Ever!

The Ballet Academy is seeking part-time and substitute dance instructors for the 2011-12 school year. Dance instructors should have collegiate and/or professional experience in Ballet, Modern, and/or Musical Theatre Jazz. Students taught may vary in age from 6-Adult. Positions are paid and all instructors receive free classes with our professional faculty. We'd also love to hear from choreographers and instructors interested in teaching a master class! Breaking Ground 2012: Festival for Dance, Film, Art. Tempe Center for the Arts. January 28, 2012; 2pm and 8pm. Call for Contemporary Dance, Dance Film, Site Specific Work and Art Installations. Looking for Student Work and Professional Work. Deadline: Postmarked by October 15, 2011. Dance on Camera Festival 2012. Call for Entries Deadline: October 1, 2011. Dance Films Association is still accepting submissions for our 40th Dance on Camera Festival co-produced with The Film Society of Lincoln Center, taking place January 27-31, 2012.
Entry fee is free to DFA members; $30 for non-members. We accept dance videos of all types and lengths. We welcome screen adaptations of stage choreographies, narratives, documentaries, abstract and experimental shorts as well as performances videos. Apply Now for the ADF Winter Intensive! December 30, 2011– January 9, 2012 at The Ailey Studios in New York City. The annual nine-day intensive is held in New York City and offers classes, panels, performances and more. Study with outstanding teachers, learn in a supportive environment that offers individualized attention, hear about the NY dance scene from artists who are currently creating it, and see open rehearsals and performances from an insider's perspective. Dance & Performance Summer Institute in Trinidad!

New Waves!, from July 18-August 2, 2012, will bring 50 international dance artists to Trinidad. The 2-week Summer Institute offers intensive master classes and workshops in contemporary dance, Caribbean dance, hip-hop, composition and repertory with an outstanding faculty of international dance artists.
