J.O.I.N seeks Hula Dancer for Fundraising event
On Friday, May 13, 2011, a fundraising party will be held to benefit J.O.I.N. (Joint Organization for Inner-city Needs) a local agency that offers emergency help to the poor with food, utilities, gasoline, bus tickets, clothes, and birth certificates. Most of the entertainment is provided by clergy but to enhance our theme we would like to have one or two dancers demonstrate the hula. We only need about 15-20 minutes of dancing beginning at 7:30 P.M. The party will be held in the parish hall of St. Andrew Catholic Church in Upper Arlington. We are offering an honorarium of $50.00 for each dancer. If you have the hula in your dance repertoire and would be willing to entertain at our BiblioBenefit, please contact Rise Casteel at 614-889-1265 or rcasteel@Columbus.rr.com.
