performances & special events
Eat / Love / Dance at Denison University, December 9-11 at 8pm in the Theatre Arts Building, Ace Morgan Theatre. The performance is free and open to the public. The performance features works by dance faculty Stafford C. Berry, Jr. and guest artists Julie Fox and Jon Rodriguez (reconstructed by guest Rachael Riggs-Leyva). Fox’s original contemporary piece, “Fruit in the Downstage Right Corner,” will lead off the performance. Featuring seven Denison students, an original composition by the Dance Department’s Resident Musician Terrence Karn, and a little fruit inspiration thrown in to sweeten the experience, this work explores the choices choreographers make to convey meaning through movement and perspective.
