Let's all watch and enjoy the fruits of our labors together!
All are invited to enjoy!

Choreographer Needed
Kari Patterson of Court Street Intermediate School (Circleville City Schools) is directing a musical at a high school in Pickaway County and would like to allow OSU dance students an opportunity to apply for the choreography position. The show is "Hot Mikado," and rehearsals would not begin until January. This would be a paid position.
If interested, please contact Kari at: pattersonk@circlevillecityschools.org

Synchronous Objects Accolades

With Assistant Professor Norah Zuniga Shaw and Professor Maria Palazzi as co-project leaders, along with William Forsythe and a team of amazing faculty, staff, and students from ACCAD, Dance, and across the university, the Synchronous Objects project just received the following accolades:

Columbus Society of Communicating Arts - Creative Best 2009 awards from 350 entries: The "Best in Category-Interactive" and "Judges Choice" awards. The project has also been chosen by a jury as a winner in the Communication Arts 2010 Interactive Annual. Lastly, The Synchronous Objects project was selected as a finalist in the AdobeMAX 2009 Awards in the Education Category. Judging Criterion for this category includes "innovative applications of technology to improve teaching and learning, communication and collaboration." Congratulations to everyone involved!

Jill Johnson will be teaching a technique class from 10:30-12pm in Studio 1 and 12:30-2:30 in Studio 4 on Thursday, December 3 to our dance majors and graduate students.

The sign up sheet for the Saturday, December 5 adjudication for Winter Concert, ACDFA, and Movement Research is posted outside of Studio 1. The sheet will come down at noon on Friday, December 4 to prepare for the event.
In addition to the three venues listed above, we will present a work at the 2010 DANCEWAVE's Kids Cafe Festival in NYC. Due to the expense of traveling and the nature of the event, this will need to be a small cast of undergraduates. Dancers and choreographer need to be available to travel to New York on Friday, February 5, perform on Saturday February 6, and return to Columbus on February 7.
