Experiencing Music: Music and Interdisciplinary Arts Applications
Offered under "Workshop in Dance"

Instructor: Susan Chess
This course provides hands-on experience encompassing various aspects of music as it can be used in the classroom. In this course, one will have the opportunity to experience and apply music in a number of ways through Dalcroze Eurhythmics, keyboard improvisation, playing percussion instruments, and the exploration of musical elements as they relate and can interact with other disciplines.

ADF SCREENDANCE DEADLINE EXTENDED
Proposals due May 2
Screendance: State of the Art 2 welcomes the submission of papers and presentations that critically address the issues of curating and its relationship to screendance. Submitted papers must include a 250 word abstract and authorial bio. The conference also welcomes proposals for curated programs to be presented for screening, discussion, and curatorial critique.

COMP TICKETS
Going with the same department policy as the last 5-years for Complimentary Tickets for OSU Dance Downtown, everyone gets 1 COMP ticket for the performance run. The list will be posted at 10 AM on Monday, April 21, on the Dept Announcements bulletin board next to the Costume Shop. All you have to do is check off which show you want to use your ticket.
The deadline for comp sign-up is 12:00 Noon the following Tuesday, April 29. Pick up for COMP tickets starts at 9 AM on Thursday, May 1, in the Reception Office, Room 022. All comp tickets have to be picked up from the Reception Office. They will NOT be left at Will Call at the theater.
