BLACK DANCE ALLIANCE INFORMAL SHOWING

Members of the Black Dance Alliance will be showing work THIS Friday, June 1st in Sullivant Theater. The showing is called A Common Thread: Eclectic Voices and features work choreographed by Justin Bellamy, DeAngelo Blanchard, Betina Dunson, Sydnie Liggett, Ashley McGill, Eboni Williams, and Drew Woods. The show will begin promptly at 5:30. Please come and support your colleagues!

CONGRATS TO THE SENIORS!

Congratulations to the fabulous choreographers, performers, designers, and crew on all of their wonderful work for this year's Senior Concert! And a special thanks to Vickie Blaine who kept everyone organized and inspired!

REMINDER FROM THE MEDIA LAB

Over the summer as part of some new IT changes, the minuet server will be rebuilt. As a result, any and all data that you have stored on the server (this means, in your home area) will be deleted including your sites folder, your desktop, anything the in documents, music, or movies folders.

Please take the time to back up anything you want to still have when you come back in the fall. I would recommend doing this soon since it can be easy to forget things like this as the quarter comes to an end.

UGU SAYS GOODBYE FOR THE YEAR

Thanks for your attendance today at the short but sweet "UGU Cities Fair!" As you know, we are developing these events in
response to your ideas and requests that you shared during the UGU Party. Clearly we could have spent another hour just talking about how to thrive in the dance world, sharing contacts, and helping you build a survival net, but we are happy that we got the short time that we did with you today. For those who were unable to attend, you can look forward to more developed Cities Fair in the Fall.

For those of you who are graduating, we wish you the absolute best in this transition, and encourage you to keep in touch and use your OSU connections. Be good to yourselves! For those who are returning next year, have a fantastic summer full of exploration and inspiration. Annie Beserra will be taking over the coordinating reigns for UGU next Fall (I'm graduating), and you are in good hands with your Grad Buddies.

Thank you for helping to initiate this strong and vital connection between Grads and Undergrads, and for making the beginnings of UGU a success!

-Karen Ivy, UGU Coordinator 2006-2007 and the UGU Committee
