Announcing OSU's New PhD in Dance Studies

The Ohio Board of Regents has given full and final approval to the new Ph.D. Program in Dance. It is official and completely complete. Congratulations to the faculty who worked so hard on this development under the graceful leadership of Karen Eliot, and under the guidance of former chair Scott Marsh. This new degree program will situate our department as a leader in the field, continuing a tradition of imaginative and courageous visioning begun so clearly in the early years with Helen Alkire.

Dance Downtown Rocks!

As some of you may know, this year we are offering group sale rates for our Dance Downtown Rocks! production. Tickets are $10/ticket for a group of ten or more. We encourage you to join the efforts of initiating group sales by hosting a group to come or referring this opportunity to friends, family and colleagues. Dorm mates, student groups, businesses, churches, large classes, old dance studio contacts -think about who in your life would be a good match for group sales.

All they have to do is contact CAPA at (614) 469-0939 and connect to group sales. There is a one dollar service fee per ticket.
