Over Spring Break we will be clearing off space on the scratch discs in the media lab. If you would like to request permission to keep a project on a scratch disc through the next quarter, please email JulieAnna, email@example.com by the last day of class, March 9. We will be making room for the video editing course next quarter on the first day of Spring Break. Some reminders about using the scratch discs...You must make a folder with your name on it in the scratch disc and put everything that is yours inside that folder (it's getting pretty messy). The scratch discs should be used for department projects only. It is not appropriate to store personal projects on department computers. We are always happy to see that our resources are being used. We do suggest however if you're consistently working on large projects to consider purchasing an external hard drive so you can hold on to your files. See JulieAnna or Shawn if you have any questions.
